


Mt Whitney Pendant
The first time I saw Mt Whitney was from the West side..we had just finished passing through the bottom half of the John Muir trail and amazing places like Evolution Valley (the background picture.) It was the end of the day and we camped on these flat rocks maybe 500 ft below the summit. We had the most amazing sunset watching it cast a triangle shadow to the east side. Nowadays we only see it from the East side when we camp in Alabama hills on the way the beach. The drawing comes from a photo from the East side, its most recognizable more famous side...
